As a teaching practice, we welcome 1–2 students from the University of British Columbia Midwifery Program each year. Supporting the education of future midwives is an important part of our profession, and we value the opportunity to help students develop their skills through hands-on learning and compassionate care.

Your comfort and choice always come first. We will always ask for your consent before involving a student in your care, and you are welcome to decide the level of student participation that feels right for you.

Having students as part of the care team brings fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and an additional layer of support. Together, we work to create a positive learning environment while continuing to provide the thoughtful, personalized care our clients expect.
